Description LICENSED PRACTICAL/VOCATIONAL NURSE provides direct nursing care to patients as prescribed by the physician and is under the direction and supervision of the appropriate facility representative (RN or MD). The LPN/LVN provides nursing care specific to the age population served. Nursing activities are limited to those in compliance with the State LPN/LVN Practice Act, client facility policies and procedures, and agency policies and procedures.
Requirement

• Graduate of an approved School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN license in good standing with the State licensing board for the state of job assignment
• Minimum of one (1) year LPN/LVN experience in the setting applying for and IV skills
• Valid and current BLS through the American Heart Association and some facilities may require ACLS which is always preferred
